Maintaining your Loom and Reviving a new-to-you Loom by Mary Schmutte
Mary will discuss maintaining your current loom.
She will also discuss cleaning up and preparing that bargain “new-to-you” loom that you bought and are now wondering, “How do I clean and prepare it for its first warp?”
Mary will be bringing a Leclerc table loom that she has reconditioned that will be for sale after the program. This is one of Gloria Corbit’s looms.
Mary will also have Weavers of Orlando’s 26” Dorset loom. She will show solutions to some issues with older looms that are no longer manufactured. This 26” Dorset loom will also be for sale after the program.
If are having issues with one of your looms, you can bring the loom. Or if it’s a large loom, bring photos of the problem.
Note: Registration for the May 16, 17, 18, 2020 Deflected Doubleweave workshop will open at the February meeting. Nancy Reach will send registration details next week.
